Pointing Dogs for Serious Hunters

“Norris Heide Girl”, GWP, April 1996- March 2005.
She whelped some awesome hunting dogs for us, and we will miss her smiling face!

AKC German Wirehaired Pointers, German Drahthaar Pointers – we occasionally offer for sale some hunting pups and hunting dogs in various stages of training. Our “started” dogs are socialized, obedience trained, current on vaccinations, and hunted on upland game birds. They come with a written health guarantee.
Disposition and natural hunting instinct is carefully screened. Our dogs love to hunt!
Contact us for information on availability. These dogs make great family members, but we will only sell them to hunting homes. They need to do what they were bred for!

“Iris” at around 2 years old.  She turned 4 in June 2005, and is our main guide dog

One of our Wirehaired pups at 4 weeks.  This is “Iris’” full brother.
“Fuzz”, (whelped Dec. 15, 2003) who now resides in Pullman with a wonderful family.

Our DD “Boone” shown pointing a quail covey at 6 months old in winter of 2004.  He scored a 72 on his VJP at 8 months.  Boone got a  NAVHDA N/A Prize II in September, and scored a 179 on his HZP in October.  He is now 18 months old and in training for Utilitiy work.  He is becoming a very versatile “employee” on the Ranch.

A BIRD DOG’S Credo: If I like it, it’s mine.  If it’s in my mouth, it’s mine.  If I can take it from you, it’s mine.  If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.  If I’m, chewing something up all the pieces are mine.  If it just looks like mine, it’s mine. If I saw it first, it’s mine.  If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.  If it’s broken, it’s yours.
