Garfield County Deer Hunting

4 days of tracking pays off for Grandpa Bob (age 76 at the time).  He saw this buck feeding on opening morning, tried a shot, but missed!  

 

Eastern Washington Deer Hunting !

Come and enjoy a deer hunt in Game Management Unit 163 Marengo with our family. We offer ranch accommodations while you stay. We allow only limited access.  You will have a private area to hunt all by yourself. 

The land consists of rolling grasslands, draws and gullies. There are 2 natural springs that the deer use all year round. We also supplement with additional water guzzlers placed around the Ranch.  Habitat fields of wheat and oats are also planted for wildlife winter feed.  The resident population of deer is about 50% mule and 50% white tail.

We try to ensure that our hunters have a great time, and many have commented that they feel like part of the family. We take our deer hunting seriously, but we aren't a highly competitive camp!  We will guide your hunt, or give you some game crossing areas to watch on your own, whichever you prefer. Once you harvest your deer, we will field dress it for you, haul it, and hang it. We offer family style meals in the main house, and will try to accommodate any special diet needs you might have. If you are flying in from out of town, we will be happy to shuttle you to and from the Lewiston, ID. or Walla Walla, WA. airport.

  • Deer hunts are for 3 consecutive hunting days (additional days negotiable fee).
  • Private bedroom accommodations (or semi-private if you are with a hunting party).
  • Includes Breakfast & Dinner, home-style meals daily.  Sack lunch & goodies while hunting.
  • Choice of Guided hunts or self guided hunts.
  • Game carryout and field dressing.
  • Muzzle loader hunts depending on fall fire danger in unit.
