"Iris & Boone" Above is "Chekers", age 7 months winter 2006. He now lives in Hawaii (no more snow Cheks!) Below: A nice November day hunting Scott! Puppy Camp 2006 "Joe, Jessie, Earl, Max, & Buck" |
AKC German Wirehaired Pointers, German Drahthaar – we occasionally
offer for sale some pups and hunting dogs in various stages of training.
We have been hunting Wirehairs since 1983. Our "started" dogs are socialized
with family, obedience trained, current on
vaccinations, and hunted on upland game birds. They come with a written
health guarantee.
Disposition and natural hunting instinct is carefully selected and screened.
Our dogs love to hunt! Contact us for information on availability. Pedigrees and References available. These dogs make great family members, but we will only sell them to hunting homes. They need to do what they were bred for! ![]() Below: "Hannah" at 3 months Flying "Earl" 5 months young! 2006 |

One of our Wirehaired pups at 4 weeks, and all grown up. This is
"Fuzz", with his family.

Our male, "Boone" pointing a wild quail covey, at 6 months old.
In 2005, he scored a 72 on his VJP at 8 months. A NAVHDA N/A Prize
II in September, and scored a 179 on his HZP in October. He is now in training for Utility work. He is becoming a very
versatile employee on the Ranch, and is used for guiding. When he is not
working at the Ranch, he is hunting wild birds with us during Washington's
Upland bird season, swimming after shot waterfowl, hanging out with us at home,
or entertaining our grandchildren.

| For Sale, "Tillie". Female pup whelped May 3, 2009. AKC registered German Wirehaired Pointer. Tillie has been exploring the Ranch, learning what her nose is for the past couple of months. For a baby, she is a go getter. She is structurally correct in conformation, has good facial furnishings (eyebrows and beard), and will be medium wire coated. She has a sweet disposition, shows no Alpha issues, and likes lap time snuggling, indicating she's a good candidate for a family with small children companion when she's not hunting. She is flash pointing birds, but has no formal training to date. She should be ready for some light fall hunting for grouse or quail mid season. She will only be sold to a hunting home, so don't even ask if you're not committed to spending field time. These dogs don't thrive in a kennel 24/7, but need a family to protect and work for. They like employment! $1,000 firm until training begins. Phone the Ranch for more details or to schedule a doggie visit. 509-843-3892 West Side Wa. delivery available. |
They're not just another (UGLY) pretty face!

A BIRD DOG'S Credo: If I like it, it's mine. If it's in my mouth, it's mine. If I can take it from you, it's mine. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine. If I'm, chewing something up all the pieces are mine. If it just looks like mine, it's mine. If I saw it first, it's mine. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine. If it's broken, it's yours. (thank you Joel Vance, Gun Dog 2003) |
